The 100 Day Plan
The 100 Day Plan, which is sometimes referred to as the Entry Plan, has been used frequently by professionals in education, business, and political realms as a vehicle to assist the newly placed leader in establishing plans that will ensure the best opportunity for success. Leaders create a plan for their first 100 days in their new position, outlining for themselves and stakeholders and colleagues what first steps they will take to get to know the culture of their new environment, a timeline for establishing steps for new initiatives (aligned with vision and mission), and other initiatives that are key to success. Select reading are included to expand thinking on true action research and application to enrich participants’ own 100-Day Plans. Key Terms, pre- and post-tests, and an aligned Power Point presentation are available, aligned to this course.
