The research on change leadership asserts that today’s principals must be equipped to handle a complex, rapidly changing environment, and that only those who are prepared to lead the reforms needed for sustained improvement in student achievement will be effective. This course examines the guidelines for understanding and leading change, the seven principles for change management, 1st and 2nd order change, and how change impacts the learning culture.
