Adult Learning Theories

The work of Malcolm Knowles and others who examined the ways that we help adults learn (andragogy), contrasted with the ways in which we help children learn (pedagogy) are the focus of this course. The learner, the role of the learner’s experience, the learner’s readiness to learn, orientation to learning, and motivation for learning are all key points discussed in this course. Adult learning theories, such as Self-Directed Learning, Transformational Learning, and others are discussed, as well as appropriate applications of each. Key Terms, pre- and post-tests, and an aligned Power Point presentation are available, aligned to this course.

All purchase options are limited to one-time use and include all stand-alone materials. If you choose the Consultant-Led option, travel expenses will later be factored into the price.
